Dr. Susanna Leung - Vice President I Sunshine Charity Society
As Vice President of the Sunshine Charity Society, Dr. Susanna Leung merges three decades of financial expertise with health innovation to architect the Sunshine Corporate Impact Partnership (SCIP). She created its Health and Business Ambassador programs, generating jobs and promoting corporate wellness. Her strategic financial stewardship ensures these initiatives deliver sustainable, scalable impact—championing health equity, women’s empowerment, and accessible education to build a healthier, more resilient community for all.

Dr. Herb (Jay) James, a charter SFU alumnus, overcame deafness via pioneering Swedish surgery to become a global advocate for hearing-impaired children. In 1967, he founded the International Sound Foundation, providing free screenings, surgeries, and refurbished hearing aids to thousands across 10 developing nations. His "Better Hearing-Better Life" initiative revolutionized pediatric audiology. A Queen Elizabeth II Golden Jubilee Medal recipient, his five decades of leadership have transformed hearing healthcare accessibility worldwide.


Core Philosophy - Shah’s work embodies the principle that "business prosperity must uplift communities" , merging financial acumen with grassroots empowerment. His institutes have impacted 10,000+ beneficiaries through microloans, skills training, and policy reforms
Dr. Heshu Li is a leading expert in anti-aging science, immunotherapy, and regenerative medicine. He is CEO & CTO of Hesca Anti-Aging Center and Jiuyue Biotech Group, and serves as Honorary Chair of the Sunshine Charity Society. With over 30 years of experience, Dr. Li has led major research projects and established GMP-compliant clinical labs in Canada. His innovative stem cell therapies have shown remarkable results in cancer, autoimmune diseases, and aging, earning him international recognition and numerous scientific honors.
